About Me
Hi Nice to meet YOU! my name is wojtek
I’m a game programmer and a lecturer who gets overly excited about any and all displays of the “rule of cool!!”
When I’m not playing through the latest indie darling or cultivating my 96% success rate on guessthe.game, I’m most likely working on variety of gameplay systems as part of the next project I’m currently on.
Below you can find a mix of all the different projects I worked on, from some cool results of university assignments, through Global Game Jam marvels and some commercial projects that I worked on as part of my indie game studio.
My journey started as a BSc Games Technology student and continued on to MSc in Commercial Games Development. During that time I established an indie game studio, Tidy Games, alongside two of my close friends. We worked as a “devs-for-hire” studio, while working on our own game ideas in our spare time. Alongside this, for the past 2 years I’ve worked as a part-time Senior Lecturer for Games Technology at UWE Bristol.
While I specialise in gameplay systems implementation in both Unity and Unreal, my journey lead me through working on wide range of systems, back-end tools, networking, machine learning, liaising with clients, project management, and general principles of game design.
